Larrivees are like a cross between a good Taylor (no laughing) and a nice Martin. They have the bottom end Martins have without being "muddy" and the sparkly (is that a word?) treble of a Taylor without being "tinny." The best of both worlds IMO...if you want a wood box that has a great balance of sound and is very easy to play without spending major $$$$, Larry's are the way to go.
