Brilliant marketing though. Every Taylor-weenie on the planet would want to buy one. There's no "you have one like that" arguments to contend with. It was hyped as a limited special edition kind of thing. Cripes, there was even a post on here about how cool these guitars are. I'll bet a few got bought because of the exposure. As a company, Taylor does seem to be doing all the right things ... including making all their product here in California, having a huge market share, getting lots of positive media recognition, and doing their business in a responsible way. Too bad I'm not a fan of their guitars.

Stephen, did you ever find those pictures of the mandocello?
