Congrats Ed. Let us know how you like it. I think you will. Just my personal opinion, but the older Legends are the best sounding Ovations ever.

So, Ed, did you get the Legend?

Hi colt.
Yes I got the legend. It sounds ok, and plays ok, but their is an issue with the neck, and maybe the bridge. The bone is about 1/4" or more thick, as you can see in the pics on this thread, I wonder if anyone knows if that's normal. Also does anyone know how to adjust the neck? There is a nut of some sorts inside near the bottom of where the neck joins the body, I'm wondering if this needs to be loosened before adjusting the neck with an allen wrench?
It sounds great plugged in, but acoustically it is slightly flat, the highs don't ring, compared to the 1111 I bought from Jason.
Maybe I'm just being anal, but the last few inches of the fretboard dive down towards the sound hole, however, from the nut up to the body the action is good, and no buzzing

Ed, glad to hear you got it. Sorry I can't help with the adjustment issues, but someone here will be able to walk you through it.
The bone you're talking about, is the bridge or nut? They both look right to me, but what do I know?

Have you put new strings on it?

Sure is a nice looking guitar.

Dave
