Location: Orlando, FL | Too bad. That's a good deal on a 597. I almost bought one of those before folks here talked me into buying my 1537 from Jeff W. I think the 597 would compliment your 1537 nicely. I've played both a 1597 and a 597 but not in one sitting and if memory serves me they sounded and played very similar.
Still glad I got the 1537 instead though, love that guitar. |

Location: East Wenatchee, WA | Well, the search has ended (I hope successfully) as I purchased a W597 in Natural. Probably paid a tad more than I could have, but it is a pretty late model, so hopefully in the shape represented.
Now we shall see if the Adamas is all it is rated to be....my "last for a lifetime" guitar. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | OK, next time I stop at the A&W by the interstate, you will have to bring both your guitars. I don't know how you'll carry both on your Goldwing, but that's your "problem". I have trouble fitting more than one in the Porsche, too. My wife wouldn't like it if I left her home so I could strap a guitar in the passenger seat. Maybe I should take the golf clubs out of the trunk, but she probably wouldn't like it in there either. |

Location: East Wenatchee, WA | Listen....as long as you are at the A&W anyway, why not just take the 3 mile detour and pop on into my house. The bathrooms are cleaner, coffee is on (hey...I even am getting pretty good with the Espresso machine the kids bought me for my birthday), and the music room fully equipped with some Vintage Ludwigs, Mackie board, EV speakers and Roland Key's. You can cut a quick demo on the Tascam while your wife is using the potty, and be back on the freeway in minutes. I will even let you play my Adamas and 1537....Now if that isn't FULL SERVICE, I don't know what is. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Sounds good, if we aren't in a big rush next time. I could play my whole repertoire in the time it took to eat at the A&W. That doesn't mean the service is slow, I just don't know much. I have never played an Adamas. Of course, I never played any of the models that I have, except the Balladeer before I bought one. If my wife figures that out, she probably won't let me stop, cuz I'll have to have an Adamas. |
