Location: CALIFORNIA | I just sold my 1763 which was in excellent condition for $550. Just prior to my sale I saw one that sold for $608. I hope this helps. |

I googled this and found that Canadian cedar is also known as Spanish Pine to guitar builders and has long been used for classical guitars.
Why did Ovation use 2 different model numbers, one for cedar and one for Spanish Pine if they were made out of the same wood? |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I bought the cedar one because it sounded better than the Spanish Pine. Wonder what the Canadians and Spaniards call it. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | A 1613 just sold on ebay for $430. I don't want to start another battle about ebay, but that may or may not be a good indication of the value of your guitar. It also happens to fall within the range of opinions given above. |
