Location: Snåsa, Norway | Anybody who want to record their guitar to the computer but don't want to spend money on it? I found a good solution for my purpose, mainly recording my own playing to check out improvment of practice. I downloaded the Kristal Audio Engine and Audacity from the web, bought a 1/4" - 1/8" adapter and plug in my guitars through a Digitech RP50 (any unit that control the level of the signal will do, and you can even plug in directly). You may try to switch between mic and line in inputs to find which give the best results. I also use the Asio4All driver to be able to get monitoring out with my standard soundcard. |
