| Hello Ovation Fan Club,
As an older, left handed person just teching myself to play guitar, I have been enjoying my first and only guitar, a MIM Fender Stratocaster... until today when I drove two hours out of town to buy a 1977 Balladeer, model 1112-1! I couldn't be more excited!
A quick review of some of the threads in this forum didn't seem to have an answer to my first question, but I'm willing to bet I haven't looked hard enough. I'm looking for recommendations for my first set of strings. My sunburst beauty is sitting with strings at least 20 years old.
I get it, asking someone what strings to use is lime asking someone else to choose your favorite color, but I could really benefit from a good starting point.
Can someone point me to an existing thread where people have weighed in on tbis subject??
