Location: Middle America | I have a beautiful Elite 1537 which has recently developed a split in the upper sound hole. It appears to be where two pieces of wood had been glued together, and not in the wood itself. Anyone else out there have this problem? Is it an east repair, such as, gluing and clamping the sound hole where it is split? Any advice would be appreciated. |

I have "upgraded" your membership. Only a few members can respond in the "Welcome Center".
I recommend that you post your question in "General Posting" or the "Bottom Feeding Luthiery Guild".
Then you may get a response from the "craftier" people. Many members can rebuild a whole guitar.
And a 1537 is always worth repairing.
Welcome.
