| Hi there, I recently purchased a Celebrity Deluxe ( got a smokin’ deal on it) and am in search of information. It is is good condition for the age (1992 according to serial number), but is having issues with the preamp. This model does not have a battery holder as far as I am tell, it wasn’t included. The 9V barely fits in the box. The preamp is an old model, no model number that I can find. It has High, Low, and Gain sliders only. Before I get into the tear-down stage, I was wondering if just using an under-saddle pickup wired to the output jack is the best, least labor intensive option?

Also... I have owned a Celebrity CC57 that had volume and tone, but no battery.
Very few people can respond in the Welcome Center, so I have "upgraded" you to a Member.
You can now post in other sections and upload pics to "Albums" which might help you find information.
"General Posting" or "About my Guitar" would be more productive.
