Location: Yokohama, Japan | Hey OFC! Check out what I found at a used bookstore the other day. I know you all have seen or own one of these, but...A paperback version of Hal Leonard's "The History of the Ovation Guitar" by Walter Carter. It's not easy to find stuff like this in Japan, so you can imagine how excited I was to spot this! For a paperback, the condition is quite good and the price was even reasonable. This is going into our school library to be used as a text for our business and innovation studies! Very Cool! My '94 1861 Standard Balladeer (pictured here) is no "Book Elite" but I love her none-the-less. After completing a neck reset recently, my adoration for her has deepened. She has a very special voice, and I'm so proud to own her as well as this awesome book! |
