Hi folks,
I'm a bass player but have a friend's Adamas 1687 (I believe) from around 1980. Beautiful guitar in the brown sparkly color. It has 2 output jacks which I think are stereo and mono. When I plug it in from what I'm guessing is the stereo jack the A, G and high E strings are softer than the others. So does it need a stereo guitar cord to work properly? Like a Rickenbacker bass with the stereo Ric-O-Sound jack? Does it split the alternating strings right and left?
thanks,

John

Yes, the stereo pickup splits alternating strings left and right. You need a stereo cable (or Y cable as some call it) and plug into two inputs.
