Location: Devon, UK | Hi, new here to the forum. I've just bought a 1619 custom legend. Firstly how do I date it from the serial number, and secondly there are a few issues with the guitar and wondering if it's worth keeping or not. The issues are: chip out of headstock, wrong FireWire put in past 12th fret fret wire sticking out and top e string keeps catching on fret wire, the fret board dips in at the very end by the soundhouse (is this normal) binding on the neck cracked and in one place a different piece has been replaced, haven't had chance to plugin in so don't even know if the electrics work or what it sounds like. The Top has a few dings and looks like it may be split behind the bridge? I've been after one for years and just bought this one off eBay as they don't appear too often here in. The UK. |
