The best quote from the Grammy's came from Dave Grohl, Foo Fighter's frontman. They had just won Best Rock Album for an album RECORDED IN HIS GARAGE!!!!!

"The human element of making music is what's most important. Singing into a microphone and learning to play an instrument and learning to do your craft...that's the most important thing for people to do.
It's not about being perfect, it's not about sounding absolutely correct, it's not about what goes on in a computer. It about what goes on in here (heart) and what goes on in here (head)"

Perfect!!!

So true; much the same can be said for building guitars.

It took me a long time to warm back up to Dave after the whole "Mentos" commercial thing, but he impresses me on just about all levels, singing, guitaring, drumming, AND Courtney doesn't like him.

Their last album was really good. If the song "Rope" comes on it's stuck in my head the rest of the day.
