The Adamas 1581 I just purchased had been held prisoner in a closet for a while. The neck seems really dry. Will using some Dunlop polish correct this or is there something else I should use? Thanks.

You mean the fingerboard? Try some polish. I have some old cans of Warwick wax and use that, it's a lot like butchers wax. Try some of that if the Dunlop doesn't work good enough.
