The Who released Tommy.

I was at BB Kings in NYC last night and saw Wonderous Stories perform the entire opera with some additional Who classics at the end. The band had four vocalists, two guest vocalists (Cousin Kevin and Uncle Ernie), three guitarists, drums, bass and keyboard. Awesome rendition of classic rock. They had everyone one their feet.

Wonderous Stories was followed (11:30) by Who's Next, a four piece Who tribute band. The singer really looks like Roger Daltry in his late 30's. The guitarist does a goood Townsend complete with windmills and jumps. Very, very good Who tribute.

The night was a bit of Who overdose but "who" cares.

I'd recommend seeing either band if they're in your area.
