hey all, i was wondering. The straps that limit how far the case opens have come out from under the padding/case. Can i just hot glue these things back in? or do i need something special to bond these two so this doesnt happen again? It doesnt seem to be putting any extra stress on the hinges, (but i guess it could be) but still, id like it to be fixed correctly, it opens now fine and all, just both sides( top and bottom) laying flat on he floor.

This is a common problem. Hot glue should work. I've fixed quite a few of them with regular white glue (e.g. Elmer's).

I used epoxy cement and a couple of pop rivets to hold the end of the strap to a spot on the plush lined edge inside of the hinged compartment. Not the neatest fix, but it's very solid and when the compartment lid is closed it looks just fine.
