anyone had any experience replacing the pickup switch 12 points in a circuit board

Check with Mr. Ovation here on the board- I think he might have the switch you need. If you can post a picture that will help.

You'll need to desolder the switch from the PC board and solder the new one in, taking care not to overheat the traces on the board. If that doesn't sound easy to you, have an amp tech or an electronics repairman do the job.
