OK, before this goes on Fleabay I'm going to offer it here first. '67/68 (serial no 2094) Deluxe Baladeer. 3 piece top, grovers, deep bowl shiny finish, white PAF label, 5-point rosewood bridge. Absolutely stable repaired top crack, original inlaid rosette delaminated a couple of years ago and has been replaced with an overlaid version. Comes with 70's tan case. This guitar is a player's instrument, by which I mean it's not in collectors condition, but it sounds absolutely fantastic. I don't really want to sell this, but a 45RI isn't cheap, even at dealer price!

Somebody needs to jump on this. Temp bought this guitar on the 'bay and then had trouble getting the seller to ship it. Turns out it was a pawn shop in Hollywood. I went up there and liberated the guitar, brought it home, and tuned it up.

Jeez, was I ever surprised! It was the first shiny bowl I had ever played and it was wonderful! I ended up finding one for myself, then getting a Glen Campbell Deluxe Balladeer. I sold my DB to Karl in Germany who absolutely loves it.

This is a guitar that should stay in the family. If you've ever wondered what the sound was that got Ovation on the map, this guitar will tell you. It's just great. Compare it to a new Legend LX, and it's like comparing a 64 Mustang to an 06. Different, but great.

Playing unplugged, I prefer the Deluxe Balladeer over the other wood top Ovations I have. It's a great acoustic guitar with a very mellow and clean sound. Somebody should jump on this one, you won't regret it!
