Location: Hicksville, NY | Accidentally came into this "news" while browsing the net at random about guitars in general. Just when I thought that it's a heck of a lot more affordable to own a M than a Gibson acoustic (unless you're purchasing an Epiphone or one of them Wal Mart starter guitars), due to the incorporation of composite materials into their Road and X series guitars, I can safely guess this will take it a step further. Perhaps, this might one day lead of Ms made in the Far East in the future? Hmmm...

| It's not just you guys - just read in the paper today that a medical engineering company here in Kent (part of a huge British engineering company) is closing its manufacturing facility here and moving the jobs to Mexico where it has a facility that it acquired when it bought out an American company a couple of years ago.
These are quite high-skilled jobs, not simple assembly jobs. |
