wondering about the ovation warranty...
my ovation has developed a crack in the clear coat on the top of the guitar.
i'm the original owner, bought back in 1987. i have all the paper work including the receipt. will the company refinish the guitar for me? is that covered under warranty?

i don't know if a complete Finish is covered under warranty since you've had her since 1987. but check and see. If you think you'll be happier witha refinish and it doesn't happen to be covered, I would strongly suggest getting it done anyway. The customer service team will do a fantastic job.

It would probably be better to get the crack repaired and the line filled and patched rather than a refin. They can do that very well.
