What's the difference between a Standard Artist (1621) and a Balladeer? Just bowl depth?

1st O' I owned was a '71 Balladeer. The next O' was a '72 Artist. The Artist had a mid-depth bowl and custom tuners. The fingerboard was the same, and top may have been nicer but I don't remember. (Traded it later on a model called a Glen Campbell Artist..)
