Caught an episode on CMT of the 20 greatest Southern Rock songs... and they didn't even mention "Higher Ground" from GRINDERSWITCH!!!

Higher Ground from their "Pullin' Together" album.

Wow, I hadn't thought of Grinderswitch in a long, long time...I guess it's time to dust off the old 8-tracks :)

Ya know, CDB mentions all of the greatest Southern Rock bands in his song "South's gonna do it again"...Elvin Bishop, ZZ Top, Marshal Tucker, Grinderswitch, Willie, the list goes on....or as a friend of mine wrote, "the road goes on forever and the party never ends"
