Location: colorado | I have a 1968 12-string serial # B-113-A. It has a smooth/shiny back and the sound hole rosette is inlaid. I have been trying to find out it's value but most people are stumped. It has no model name on the headstock other than just the word Ovation. The guitar is in excellent shape and I have had it since late 1970. I even called Lost Art/Vintage Instruments in New Jersey and he couldn't help. Does anyone have any expertise in this area? |

I have a similar 12-string. It is the white Bloomfield paper label. Mine just says "Balladeer" on the label above the serial number. Serial number is 1187, no letter. I just call it a Balladeer 12-String. I think Ovation called it Model-5. I'm not sure the value. I paid $600 for mine a few years ago.

Location: colorado | No Dave, just my stage name, just kidding. The registration rejected my real name as a log in and then others I typed in so I got pissed and just put in bozo and it went through. Thanks for the info on the 12er, see ya Bill |
