I just bought a Legend 5777-ES with OP-X electronics. What is the "Notch" function? How do I tell if it's working? Thanks.

Hey Doc,
Fellow Minneapolitan here  I'm no expert here so here goes... The notch function filters out frequencies which may be causing feedback when plugged in to an amp. I guess the only way you could tell if it was working is to plug in, stand real close to your amp with the notch filter off and see if you can get some feedback- then turn it on and see if it goes away?? This may be oversimplifying it so I hope someone else can explain it better- Anyway, welcome to the club!!
:D
