Just clicking past MTV and saw a brief thing on Bob Marley, who died in 1981. He was playing a beautiful Adamas.

They were having some dedication ceremony for him and I think I saw a statue of him playing an Ovation. Model and type I couldn't make out but the head stock was definately Ovation.

Seems like I remember an Ovation ad featuring Bob Marley....
Maybe I was dreaming :D

I managed to see Bob Marley and the Wailers when they played in Austin in 1978.

I went searching for tour history (I couldn't remember what year it was that I saw him) and found it here:

Bob Marley playing his Adamas

I honestly can't remember if he played this guitar when I saw him.

My wife and I named our daughter (my first, her third) Marley Emma, after Robert Nasta Marley...
