This morning on the Regis and Kelly show, New York Yankees centerfielder Bernie Williams was playing some nice jazz. He used a Telecaster painted in NY Yankee colors for the first song. Then he had a cutaway Adamas for the next song. He's a good player, and the tone of the Adamas was great. Nice to see an Ovation on TV in the morning.

I bought his CD and it's quite good (if you're into what's now being classified as "SmoothJazz").

A couple weeks ago, there was a die-hard Yankee fan who heard it playing in my office, poked his head in and said ". . Yeah, that Bernie oughta' put down the guitar an' pick up a fuckin' BAT! . ."

LOL!!
