My Elite LX has "Thump" on the low end! Choice of particular strings may enhance or retard what you are going for. If you see what you want in the 6778 LX it is going to be there in the 1778 LX.
The Elite T with the single set of epaulets in the upper bout is definately a low end sound machine with the right set up.
I have a deep bowl 1111 presently with .074" thru .014" gage strings on it (move the bass "E" to the "A" and so forth). This may be too far but a low "E" of .058" may rattle some windows!

Location: Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey | I'm a big fan of a thumpy low end for solo work. I highly recommend a Aphex "Acoustic Exciter" pedal (around $130)...has a control dial labelled "big bottom". It's awesome, and I've been searching for something like this for a long time. I love it. Works on all my guitars, even the shallow bodies get real fat bottom end sounding.
