| Wow. I recently spent a lot more than 1800 on one of these sweet looking birds, so I hope there's rapid inflation on Mill CBs. I guess it depends on how we think of value. I wanted one for a long, long time but they so rarely come up for sale. I won't say what I spent on mine, but if someone wanted to buy it from me I don't even think there's a realistic number I'd consider at this point. That's how badly I want to keep it, and how highly I value it as a work of art.
One time I ended up in an in-person auction situation with another buyer and couldn't compete so it slipped away. That time, I was at a guitar shop and someone traded one in on credit for another guitar and me and this other guy saw that trade go down and things got super awkward, especially for the guy who just traded it in for credit and realized he'd have gotten a lot more from two people within fifteen feet of him. All that was missing was the fast talking auctioneer and a gavel. Well, and about a 1200 more than I had in my bank account at the time. The ad hoc auction was going well for me at 50-75 dollar increments and then this guy just freaks out and drops a number 1 grand higher than we were at. We all stared at him and I left feeling dejected. They aren't making any more of these. $1800 two years ago isn't a steal; it feels like highway robbery compared to what I watched one of these go for.
If anyone else feels like selling theirs for around 1800 bucks, please pm me.

Location: New Hartford CT | Am currently installing some EB Alum Bronze med lights on Millenium S/N 16546. Great guitar.
Good luck in your search. It does seem as if the value on this model has risen lately. |

Location: SoCal | I have 15918, bought from an OFC'er in March of 2004. Originally checked out the SMTs and CVTs before I ventured into the textured top. Millennium is the only one of the SMT and CVTs that I kept. Balance, projection, and resonance is great. Several other owners have reinforced my observation that with EJ-16 strings it has a subtle harpsichordic ring. It stands apart from the other textured, SMT, and CVT models. Great guitar. |

| Good advice on the strings. Not really a 12-53 guy by preference but I'll give them a try sooner than later (once the darn thing finally arrives!). |
