I'm a new member from Toronto and I bought my Balladeer (1111-4) new in Sept. 1971. Still looks great although it's due for a professional set up which will be the first since ever. Lawrie

I don't play it much this time of year, for I prefer that it stay in the case with a humidifier during the winter months. I pull it out and start playing it in the spring. Lawrie

We are few in number, but just as passionate in our love of Ovations. I, too, have an 1111-4, known to the board as "Gertrude," my ol' lady; our family is her second home, but we've had her for thirty years now. She is the matriarch of my Ovation stable. Anything you could ever want to know about Ovations can be learned here--and anything you may never need to know about anything else you'll probably learn here, too. ;) :D --Karen

Just last month I got my second real Ovation inspiration: an 1581-5 Adamas II. I've discovered a new level of quality. It just doesn't stop!
