Like all guitars from New Hartford, they look great in pictures, but they look even better in person. Congratulations on a fine instrument!

I use Thomastik 11-50"plectrum" low-tension strings on all my steelstring Adamii and Ovations, they all are much better to play with them, have more "voice". A matching case would be nice,too..?

I'm always looking for an excuse to experiment with new strings. Those Thomastiks are expensive! They run about 8x what I pay for most other brands.

A good source is www.martinsmusikkiste.de, if you order in small quantities, there will be no customs, only shipping.I play these strings for many years and I will be terribly upset if they may be discontinued one day. The only guitars that are not suitable for th´s are Martin dreads, they need more tension. The th´s are especially phantastic on 12strings!! Even if you use standard pitch you will have less than 120Kp tension with.11-50, and I detune every 12string1/2step, so the (old) guitar tops will survive much longer.(And my old hands, too...) This set has(from e1 to E619,8lbs,18,4lbs,20,3lbs,22,6lbs,22,1lbs,22,1lbs. You see, very balanced. The wound strings are little flatted, thus you have no noise when moving on the fretboard and the sound is very very clean. Best on offset-soundhole-guitars like Adamas or Elite.
