someone butchered it by taking off the original tuners and then trying to put full size grovers on without a plate only fell over once.

With all due respect, and you are entitled to your opinion, yes you may find it objectionable that many here do indeed hijack threads with what you refer to as humorless wit. So be it. I'm guilty. The fact that you are the first member in almost 4 years to take it as a personal crusade to slap us all back in line leads me to believe that you are in the minority. But, as I said you are just as entitled to your opinions as any other member around here. I would just like to ask you personally to please do it without vulgarity and obsenity.
