THEY WERE GREAT TO DEAL WITH...They charge a 50.00 sitting fee which is returned if you purchase a guitar..They represent about 50 Luthier's from all over the world...Thanks for looking...Keith

Joined: January 2006 Posts: 5881 Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Congratulations. There are some very nice guitars presented on the website. The beveled edge looks comfy. Some of the inlay work is gorgeous. I'll bet this stuff is really expensive. Can custom luthiers really make a living doing these high end limited run models? Does anybody actually gig with these guitars or are they primarily for showing off, not that there is anything wrong with that, of course!

Joined: January 2007 Posts: 430 Location: WNC-God's Country | I will be doing some solo, guitar and vocal, gigs with this guitar as well as demos of my songs with it. The band I'm in right now, I play the drums. We, on occasion, do an acoustic set but I mic my #47 RI for that. As far as their sitting fee, they just started that to prequalify buyers...It is not a music store enviroment. Their market is not 16 year olds playing stairway to heaven...Thanks for all the comments and keep rockin' Keith

I've always been a little leery of that simply for getting my money back out if I ever decided to do that. That said I did go down for a Tippen Bravado and two Merrills. Anyhow, Do you know Steve Sutton, a banjo/guitarist from next door in Waynesville? Good player.
