Random quote: “Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.” -Plato

How about "Monster's Ball"?

There were other people besides Halle Berry in the one. LOL.

Here are some interesting notes about Mr Boyle as well as some film credits (there's a lot of 'em), including the fact that John Lennon was the best man at his wedding.

In my mind, Frank Barone replaced Al Bundy as the guy I most wanted to be.

... not to get off topic, but I've noticed, Cliff you post obits (as opposed to "O"-bits) frequently.

Are you bettin' in a 'Dead Pool?"

It's an old habit that started years ago, when I worked another job . . .

Me and this girl who worked in the ArtDept. w/me had this little game called "GuessWhoDied?"

If one of us came in one morning and said "GuessWhoDied?", the other person had to guess. If the other person couldn't guess, they bought lunch. If they did guess, you bought lunch.

Morbid, but Fun.

All men die,
few men live.

Even fewer get to play a resurrected collection of body parts.

Peter Boyle, perhaps the baldest hippy ever.

He was brilliant as Lazo, next to Murray's H.S. Thompson in 'Where The Buffalo Roam"...

I should watch that again... back to back with Fear&Loathing in LasVegas...

(Pass the pharmaceuticals, please.)

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas just reminded me of the time I went to the video store (years and years ago) and told the kid working the counter that I was looking for a movie that was funny and upbeat, something to make me laugh. He recommended 'Leaving Las Vegas' with Nicolas Cage. I like Cage in most of his movies, so I took it.

I did not find it funny and upbeat, and it certianly did not make me laugh.

Sorry for the stream of consciousness thing...back to Peter Boyle...I saw him in Santa Claus 3 just about three or four weeks ago, I think. Do not pay money to see this movie.
