Sorry if this is off topic, but I felt like sharing with the rest of the community. music123 has the Adamas 1818 light phospho-bronze guitar strings on closeout for only .99 cents including free shipping. Stock up if you use these strings. Here's the link: Adamas 1818 guitar strings

Just be prepared to wait a while to get these (if they actually come). Due to their warehouse move (which is why they are offering free shipping on just about everything), they are way behind on shipping. I placed 2 orders for other items 2 weeks ago and they have yet to be fully shipped. I've called multiple times and my only options are either to wait or cancel my order. I think I'll wait.

ChatMan may soon have a sale on 1818 strings.

$4 a set + shipping. :D

Not really, I bought 15 sets. More than I probably need (although this is the number of sets I used this past year. That included a ton of testing and some sharing). If there are those out there that haven't tried these strings and would like to sample them (I'm kind of hoping for firstime triers please, honor system) first 5 PM's get a free set, shipping included.

I went back and tried it and sure 'nuf could not get there through the above link. If you wade through their web site you can eventually get to a place that will let you place an order for them. Does this mean you have really placed an order for them? I have no idea. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. If you try to view the item on their web page it does not exist, but they'll let order them. Interesting...

Just another heads up, my 2 orders for the strings both state processing. However, the two other orders that I placed close to 3 weeks ago still show as processing. I've never experienced such lag times in shipping with any vendor I've purchased from in my long history of internet shopping.

PS - looks like you can still order thru this link but it shows a 2-3 week backorder when you place them in your cart. These strings have been available off and on over the last week or so. Good luck.

Just got mine today. Awfully fast shipping for free. Give a couple sets to my daughter and then try to decide which guitar to try them on.

They'll get here when they get here. Can't beat the price.

Glad to see so many people get in on this deal. Looks like they had quite a few available. Used a set on my first restringing attempt on the Elite I just got. Killed a string trying to figure out what direction to wind it. Oh well, I have a bunch more sets and finally ended up getting a fresh set on my guitar. Guess that's one way to learn.
