Location: Chicago | Thanks guys. My vacation in CA never began: My 19yr old daughter nearly died from pulmonary embolisms and clots. We've been in ICU here in SF for 2 weeks. Diagnosis: a rare blood/bone marrow disorder called PNH. There is hope of a new therapy and possible translplants. Knocked out of my saddle, to say the least! |
