The website clearly says email to this address with questions. In the last month I've sent 4 legitimate questions and not a single freaking one of them answered. Even an "I don't know" would have been appreciated. Why give the illusion of support if in fact there is none? These sort of things really piss me off because they are so easy to fix. Toby

The issue is that in the "Getting Started" guide that ships with every unit it tells you where to ask your questions. Why bother, if there's nobody at the other end of the email address. Hell, they'd be better off directing that email address right here to the OFC and let folks ask their questions here. They'd get plenty of immediate answers. I just worry that they're trying to sell these things out of Best Buy as the "cool xmas gadget". Can you imagine the hell that could o break loose when the Dad who can't even assemble the xmas eve bicycle has to deal with this little gadget? The iDEA itself is SOOOO cool, but the user support has a good chance of turning into a PR nightmare if nobody answers that email address. Toby

He gave me some info, but told me that they didn't even have one at the Office. I guess we are all learning by doing. Once we, at the OFC, get enough information they will print it in the iDea manual. :p [I guess we are the 'Beta' test group... Still waiting for the OPi-2...]

Yeah... it will probably take me a while to figger-out how to use the iDea. I just plugged-it into the nearest T, listened to the intro, and did some 12-Bar Blues in A minor. But it didn't tape my intro to Wish You Were Here... Guess I better buzz over to U-Tube and watch the demo again, huh?

Whichever one is deemed the lesser will go out for sale... unless he listens to Beal and "gets both"! AJ - one of these is yours so consider sold, kind of. To stay on topic - would you spend the same amount on a Solidbody mountable "iDea" thingy if there was one?

I won't be back to the hacienda until Saturday, and the Pebbley One will arrive from his own version of Siberia a few hours in advance of me. I suspect he'll be able to open the Idea AnswerMan service within hours of getting the box open. I'm thinking it'll be a fish-to-water kind of deal with him and the preamp. The right generation and all ...
