hi guys/gals

yesterday, while doing various tests needed prior to the angioplasty/stents on Char, some
more not-so-good news/damage was found. Some clotting was found in the
atrium of the heart, which now will need to be dissolved, removed, or
reduced... and in the process of doing this it may break up and cause
a stroke, multiple strokes, or kill her... the original surgeries to
relieve the blockages in her legs and abdomen are now on hold, while
the doctors try to clear the clot, her pressures are really low, and
to top it all off... with all these extra tests and probes and
solutions and procedures being added as well her kidneys may fail
permanently as well.

if you pray, please say a prayer for her... we're scared, we're gonna
lose everything we own paying for this, and we still may lose each
other anyway.

this house is really hollow without her here... in our 6+ years
together, we've only been apart from each other for less than 30 days
total...

She's my best friend, and the best part of every day for me.

thanks for being friends and strong shoulders for me here.

Glenn

Just focus on the next step, then the next step. Small steps add up to a long journey. My very best wishes Glen, to you both.

Prayers going up, my friend. I can only imagine what you both must be going through. All I can say is stay strong, and if you're people of faith, just stay close to God and trust His goodness. I will be praying for you both. You've got all our love and support here.

"Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you"

glenn,
allow this time to draw you folks even closer together and strengthened in your faith and committment to each other. being scared in what you are facing is certainly a "normal" human response, however, God reminds us "He has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind." it's comforting to know we can lean on Someone bigger than you and i when life's situations overwhelm us.
as jeff says, you and char have got all our prayers, love and support.

Maybe set up a paypal account where everyone here can drop in a dollar or two to help pay for everything . . . it can add up.

And you'll be in my prayers.

You are in my prayers also.
Hope you don't have to lose everything, but as long as you have each other, the rest will work out.
I also hope you have a close support group that you both can draw encouragement from.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers all.

Bruce, thanks for the call, it was nice talking to you again...

still waiting on more test results, she's on blood thinners, antibiotics, beta blockers, and morphine PCA unit as needed for the gangrene/neuropathy pain in the foot, for now.. hoping for the best, we'll know more about options and treatment in a day or two.

thanks again all,

Glenn

Both of you will come out of this stronger and closer. Put on your game face when you see her to keep her strength up. Hope is a strong medicine.

Give her a hug from us here and let her know we're all pulling for.

May God bless you both.
