B)I "believe" (which means I really don't know, but think)the 'overpopulation will crush us' theory has been refuted by evidence, but bottom line- as people ( any culture/country) become more well off financially, they have less children. Population has been growing, but the rate of growth has been slowing as more countries become wealthier in general. C) I am fairly certain the problem will fix itself, one way or another. Just as a side thought, I wonder what the first guitar in space will Be???????? I know what it should be, of course. peace mike and the darwin awards movie was priceless....

I know what it should be, of course." Tup-- "First guitar in space was a Solo-ette." As soon as I read the question, my thought was "No-one has brought a guitar yet? They brought a golf club to the Moon!" Glad you guys asked and answered the question. [I thought the Russians had on on Mir? ]

Basically, from the little that I did read - the earth is over populated that will lead to its demise. This group is saying for people to slow down the population by not having children - that is just one of the things they proposes. I couldn't get through the rest of it :)

They are also known for their elegant style in architecture and furniture, influencing such people as Frank Lloyd Wright ... For you history buffs, prior to 1870, New York State was the California of Religion's, cooking up all kinds of new ideas. I reckon our most famous creation was mormanism. As ecclesiastes says ... there's nothing new under the sun.

One of the hazards of being stuck in an office all day, is that I have a radio on constantly, and I've compiled about five or six desk blotters worth of scribblings of book titles that I'll never get around to buying/reading . . . Jeanette's reading one now that I bought on such an impulse on the history of the construction of St. Peter's Basilica.

I like the idea of a few billion people going with me! I miss the Cold War. The concept of everyone going in a Nuclear Flash was kinda Romantic...
