Does or has ovation made a steel string guitar with a wider fretboard than normal...if so, what is or was the model #?

Thanks in advance for a response. BTW...this is a great board...always cool info here.

Click on the 2774LX and look at the picture of the slothead. I swear those are nylon strings...

The top 3 look like Elixirs. The bottom 3 could be nylon.
Then again, with my eyesight...

I think that the Craigslist guitar was on ebay...both from CT

http://cgi.ebay.com/Ovation-Folklore-Country-Artist-2774-LX-Acousti...

A couple of things seemed strange to me. The first being that the bridge looks classical and the second, if you look at the label in the soundhole, I could swear it says FOLKORE

I asked the seller about this, but no reply.

"Curiouser and Curiouser" cried Alice.

Maybe a 2774 and a 2773 are the same guitar with different bridges?

I actually meant the 2773...the model # is right below that, but i cannot for the life of me make out the 4th #, at that resolution.

Regardless...excellent price to have no takers on ebay.

The widest steel string guitars I know are the 1114 / 1614 Folklore, Nutwidth 1 7/8". All other widenecks have only 1 3/4" I think, also the 2009C.

Yeah, I read the label as a 2773. Still a great price.

Does the label on the "FOLKORE" say Made In Korea? Kinda hard to see.

Nope...I think it says "bowl made by Ovation USA Patented and then the number, which is right above the sticker.

Uh... Yup! I think that you noticed the obvious defect that escaped us all!

It is hard to see, but I know that it Doesn't say Made in New Hartford, CT USA.
All Ovation bowls say that they are made in USA. Even Celebrity bowls.
The correct contour bowl label should look like this...

I also think that the Folkore sez "AX"... :(

So then, what is this? A counterfeit? The label's wrong, the rosette is wrong, and the ad says 6774???

The eBay listing location was Meriden CT, not too far from the factory. Wonder if that means anything?

From my perspective it is a 1773LX looking guitar.

The sticker on the inside is what makes this a little odd...and the domino's continue to fall from there.

I think it does. I blew up the photo to see it more clearly. The text at the bottom of the label looks like the following:

A KMC MUSIC PRODUCT * MADE IN KOREA
