Well, I have most the family together minus the Mosrite that's being fixed, and the Tornado that's still down in AZ.

I thought I'd take a quick picture.

With all the guitars I can't imagine the flat screen TV getting much use!

Certainly better having those infront of the TV then Guitar Hero!

I still haven't figured out the appeal of that game. My kids keep trying to get me to play it. I'd rather play the real thing.

If I'm going to play video games, let me do something I can't do in real life... Like sitting in a bell tower shooting people between the eyes with my sniper rifle. That flat panel is great for that! I've been having fun with the Wii too. I love the Tiger Woods Golf game on the Wii.

I play once in awhile with the kids, but it's completely different than a real guitar. I feel like a complete boob when I play against them... much like all video games.

Nice gaggle...
Damon, what did you decide to do with the Mosrite?
Seems like I remember you saying your luthier wanted to trade you for something.

Colin,

It's at Hallmark Guitars in Greenbelt, MD being worked on. There was an offer, but shy of stupid silly amounts of cash being offered, I doubt I'd let it go anywhere.

It's a long process as Bob's only working on it part time. He's hand carved a new bridge and mute from aluminum, as we finally decided that the current bridge, though indeed a Mosrite, was refitted at a later date. It was modified to fit on the posts. I'm still keeping the roller bridge too, but it will be more true to original spec with the new bridge and mute. Bob fashioned the new pickup out of mahogany as well. Really he just needs to do some work on all three pickups, wire it all up again, and it'll be ready to go.

I'd say I should see it next month some time.

I keep telling myself that all good things come to those that wait.

Yes Sir. Plus I added the optional soundhole mic so between that and the under-saddle you can use the preamp blender slider thingy to blend the mix of the 2.

Some have come and gone - some remain to the end!

And some are out on loan (away at college with my #1 son!)...

Even more are yet to arrive!

MG. We really need you to come to Miles' for the NW Gathering. Or just your guitars and stands. Can I borrow a few stands for a calendar picture?

MG GET THOSE AWAY FROM THE WOOD STOVE!

I spose if a slothead or a Preacher goes up for sale locally we all know where it'll end up.

Very nice indeed.

Yeah - I'm a sucker for the curves of a Preacher and the style of a SH - and I find I'm pretty weak to resist the allure of an O' archtop...

I am now adopting a Tornado to add to the herd (thus the what's next! in my sig' line!)...

My first O ever was a Preacher. I understand completely. :)

Beautiful slab of mahogany. That UKII just called to me though, so I only had it for a few months before it had to go.

Haven't played one for 25 years now. Miss it. Still have a Polaroid of it somewhere.
