My hero, and an inspiration for the BFLG. The guy was a genius, to-be-sure.

Sad when we get old.
Happening to all of us but LP lived a pretty long, healthy and joyous life. He will be missed.

No more, no Les...

The history of electric guitars is seconded only by the history of Flight. And they are both so intertwined.

Incredible legacy.

Think the Les Paul guitars will be worth more now?

Had to ask.

That documentary is well worth the money for any guitar player who enjoys the history of the electric guitar, and of Les Paul. It was readily available a year ago.

My daughter was a good friend of Les. One time, she was telling him how I had to sell all but one of my guitars back in 1990 to put money into my business.

Les gave me an ebony LP Studio; in silver, wrote "To Tony, keep pickin', Les Paul" across the body.

Newer generations know him for the line of guitars, older generations know him for the Les Paul and Mary Ford Show...Mary was his 2nd wife.

SHOW

Les:

Thank you for the music. If it wasn't for you, the younger guys would have no idea what musical talent really is.
