Finally got the Elite 5868 Walnut.

Damn, thats a fine guitar. Now I am certain that it's had about 2 hours play time in it's life. It's in *MINT* condition, unreal!!!

I actually think this is better than the 84C, I don't say that lightly! The 84C might just be redundant now

Beautiful! One of the few Epaulet models I like.
I'd like the appearance of a 1993 or 2007 Collector without the epaulets...

Angel stepped old walnut.

It's a killer! I think this has been looked after very, very well, no signs of wear, in pristine condition, madness.

The pics don't really show of the lovely depth to the walnut.

My new beater ;)

That doesn't work, Brad. How many guitars ago did you start saying that?

Excuse me Dweezil, but that fretboard doesn't look like ebony to me. So in order to save your poor eyes from the strain constantly of reminding you that you settled for something less than your favorite wood, perhaps you should just send that guitar to me. You may say "Gulp!", but those pics just make me hungry!

7 or 8, I think. You're right. The strategy is useless.

Heheh!

Yes you're right, it's off the ebony radar but for Walnut I'll make an exception!

Send me your 87 and I'll send "Wally" by return of post.

The "Diva" is waiting to be picked up from the factory after her 30-year check up. And once she gets back to my house, she's home for good. I gotta tell ya, you're not wasting your time chasing an 87C. :p They're something else.

Congrats on the new purchase. You are now an official resident of Wally world. (Good name by the way.)

Proff,
Wasn't Plan B to buy an accessorie for the ADD/Man Room every time you needed to avert buying a guitar?

That has worked out nicely! When you turn the lights on you don't have to heat the house!

Lovely instrument Dweez!
