These NEVER EVER EVER come up for sale!!!!! and even in these tough economic times that is one hell of a price for a guitar model that probably has less than 50 in existence (and I am betting a few have been lost or destroyed forever). If this one lasts through Labor Day weekend I will be shocked at the thought process some OFC members must have.

I've said it several times here but, for the new guys, at my first Factory Tour I walked into a hotel full of the best Ovations built (as anyone who has been at any of the Tours will attest), played everything I could get hands on and there were three that absolutely blew me away - the 1537, the Ute and the FD14. All very different guitars but all incredible instruments. I own two of them now and this one would complete my Big 3 but I can't do it now. Different time and it'd be gone. Collectibility and sound. You cannot possibly go wrong here.

I sold it for well considered reasons but, still, I'm lamenting is absence. Sorry, I forgot to put a new battery in it. (btw...donation was made to OFC for the sale. Do the right thing!)
