Since you guys passed on the cheap Martin at 1 million, I though I would offer this up as a 2nd chance offering!

1930 Martin OM-45 Delux

Not a bad return  on the initial $225 asking price!

Looks amazingly like the TAK-75.

Hell for that kind of money you could buy a stake in the damn TAK factory! OM is my favorite size/shape of guitar.

Gotta have the decimal in the wrong place. It should go for 60-70.
The 75 is better, it plugs in.

CRAP! I accidentally hit BIN and then "Yes, I'm sure". My wife is going to be upset in the morning.

Then again, that's par for the course. What am I worried about? :D

Not often a museum sells off its exhibit pieces. Did y'all check out some of their other offerings?

Just what I need to add to my childhood collection of Roy Rogers memorabilia.

Roy Rogers bought his OM-45 in a pawn shop for $30.

What's with the tuners on the guitar? Looks like banjo friction pegs......

That's the way the old Martins were. It's a pretty cool look. I'm using 5:1 planary gear banjer tuners on a couple of my ukes and I'm thinking to maybe try them on a guitar. The only problem is that they require a larger peghead hole. So you need to be pretty damn sure before you experiment.

It's a virtual museum. Online only. I think they originally wanted to build something and started collecting guitars from people (perhaps even donated to the museum by the more philanthropic folk) but nevere got the project off the ground.

In a virtual museum, once you've taken all the pictures, you don't need the actual guitar anymore.

Y'all realise that Mr Wong took all our pics at the tours - any day now al and miles are going to start a virtual fan club. We are redundant.
