Been there since before Cliff was a kid and they are famous locally for coming up with some great old guitars from time to time. I remember in arond 1983?? I was buying some strings and a stand in the place and one of the salesmen came up from the cellar with a guitar wrapped in brown, waxed paper and they opened it on the counter. It was a mondolin back Vox 12 string in a candy apple red and it was as new as the day it was made in 1961. I remember wishing I had the $600 they figured it was worth, back then, as 61 was the year I was born. Pretty good investment... not great but worth owning. Anyway sign of the apocalypse for me is the Rite Aid/Eckard Pharmacy battle. Rite aid bought em out so now there are two rite aid stores in every town across the norhteast. I do not understand why they would keep two stores opened when they are litteraly directly across the street from each other. | ||
