I'm learning this song & did a search for vids & came up with this . Anyone know what model this is? You never see the bridge, so I can't tell for sure if it's a nylon string.

Related question - every tab I've come across for this song has CGDGBE tuning capoed at the 6th fret, but in all the vids I've come across of Buckingham he's playing capoed at the 3rd fret. Anyone know of or have this latter tab?

It's a nylon string. No position markers and no fretboard extension for strings 1 and 2, so I would say it's a 1624 Country Artist.

I'm not 100%, but I think he's capo'd at the fourth fret.

Take a look at frame 1:36/3:02.

That mic stand is in an unfortunate position, eh?

It's a 14 fret nylon string.

I didn't either, until I came across this video. I saw them perform in '78 or '79, and I don't remember seeing anyone play an O. Of course, memories of that time are rather hazy, largely due to the haziness at most concerts.

He had used a black, shallow-bowl Legend (or maybe a Custom legend) on one of his solo albums/tours as well . . . I remember seeing it listed in an auction here some years back . . .

I've found a tab for the 4th fret version if anyone wants it.

Sent.

Let me know if it's any good. I'm too far down the road trying to learn the 6th fret version - badly.

I've got text files for 4 slightly different versions.

Got your pm's, guys - thanks! I usually butcher anything fingerstyle but it'll be great practice.
