I am not a fan of the shallow bowl but I bet ProfessorBB is already drooling over this one (or probably has already placed his order through Al)! I love these Limited Editions with only 50 or less made. Makes a great guitar that is extremely rare even better......and with Al's low serial numbers, what a deal!

It is more similar to the present-day mid-depth bowl than it is to the super-shallow bowl. It has also been referred to in the past as a "shallow bowl" but is still distinct from the Super-Shallow bowl. At 5-1/8 inches deep, it is more similar to the present-day mid-depth bowl. Since this limited edition is also coded 1627, and since the 2-digit signifies the artist bowl, I imagine the tone is every bit as good as the originals, which are pretty fine sounding instruments.

[/QB] That's a little bit too far for me for the moment, but a really good idea. But first let me know the specs, I can't find them anywhere. Thanks Bernie ...and I hope there is not an AX behind the LTD!!

Not a lot of power acoustically, but plugged in it's great. It feels good to play and has that great Ovation look that just looks right to me....
