Poor aunt Mari.

Does Courtney sniff away all of the royalties out of the CD's and Videos?

...what?

I never have gotten the fascination with having a guitar someone famous has played to death, and paying 100 times more for it. Assuming this is mint, it's only overpriced by about $29000. More actually with the service fees.

You could get the factory to make you a custom-made model with the same specs and still save enough for a nice car.

Andrew,

Obviously you have not achieved the level of financial freedom and unfulfilled lifestyle that would allow you to see this as an opportunity to make you a "somebody"!

Congratulations!

I wonder why Curt's guitar would be in LA?

I have a Honer that was Eddie Van Halen's first guitar ever. You can have it for a mere $10,000. Any takers?

It comes with that a certificate of authenticity signed by Eddies barber Fred. This is the real deal, Fred swears it's true!

Well, it's an absentee bid which is perfectly legit. Now whether or not the bidder is legit....who knows.

How much would you pay for a guitar played by Hendrix? Kurt Cobain had as much (or more) impact on the music of his generation than Jimi. There's a lot of folks out there who idolize him. And he was very good. I wonder what his Jagstang would bring.

Kurt played guitar left handed guitar, strung lefty (or a right hand guitar strung lefty as in this pic).

This is a right handed guitar, strung righty, and Kurt is just holding it upside down. Was the guitar actually 'played' by Kurt Cobain? or did he pick up the wrong one in a drunken stupor? Or a photo-op? Or maybe he was superman guitar player???

From the looks of the last picture, it looks like a righty played lefty.
