Soldiers from the western half of the country who need substantial rehab following traumatic injuries, mostly from Iraq, are sent to BAMC. Programs of this type are a great help to our wounded heroes. Kudos to Epiphone.

It's probably pretty expensive, don't count on any applesause being added(but that's just my guess) Now keep in mind, Eppi is Gibson and that is Henry and this is all being done for the f@cking press. None of you forgot that, did you? I think he should expand the program and provide instruments for all the soldiers and their families at home too. Give till he's got nothing left to give and then fold up the tent and go home. Do something right for a change.

I'm not sure why you have the hard-on, but it's too bad that other manufacturers don't do the same, even if it is for PR. Who fricking cares as long as a GI gets a git ! MB, tell ya what: how 'bout I donate the nice CC057 with OHSC, that I loaned to Jason_S, to an active duty serviceman or woman of your choice. All you have to do is pay the shipping to your home and then to your selectee. LMK...

While I can't afford to give free guitars, I do give free lessons to the guys and gals at the VA Hospital here in Hot Springs. I have gotten them some good deals on instruments too. I even have one old fellow at the Vet's Home to whom I give lessons. Not asking for kudos for this, just encouraging all to do whatever they can for vets in your own towns. Thanks.

I'm as cynical as they come but doing the right thing for the wrong reason is still doing the right thing. Like CW says, it can't be that cheap and it's at a time when most companies are tightening their belts and doing less for the community. And, from the outside, Epiphone seem to have quite a lot of autonomy in the group - the Elitist and Masterbilt ranges are just as good as the Gibson equivalents and in many cases better.

Kaman came out the winner but it did expose the true type of person we were dealing with. Let's just say that his picture deserves to be on the bottom of every bird cage in the world.
