Wow. Here's a pristine Millennium up for auction on the 'bay (not mine). I have one or I'd be on this thing!

Adamas Millennium For Sale

I am amazed at how many guitars this guy sells, because in the past, whenever I have asked him a question about any one of his listings, he states that he pretty much knows nothing about guitars. He sure sells a lot of them though.

I hope one of the gang snags this one.

;)

I contacted this "Corey" dude and expressed sorrow that he was selling his collection of Collectors'... He also told me that they weren't his. But he sure does sell alot of them.

I had the first bid on that one!

Hmmm... actually, the listing states that it is a 'custom built' version of the 2000 Millennium. I'm (as usual) confused. I don't see that it is any different than the one I have, but perhaps I'm missing something obvious (it wouldn't be the first time)?

Anyone know what he means by that? I've sent him a PM; no reponse yet. Weren't there only 75 of these produced, not counting the ones that went to Japan, etc.?

;(

Well, All of them were 'Custom Built'... otherwise they are just 1597's with nifty fret markers.

And the dude is a Salesman.
He is also selling 'Ancient Papyrus' and stuffed animal heads! :p

Well, I did understand that part, but that should be a 'given' and I thought perhaps I was missing something "special" about that particular Millennium.

Yeah, this guy sells everything, not just guitars!

Yeah, I think about 75-80. Plus there were a few 12-strings. And of course there is one cool bass floating around with the planet inlays ...

And there were at least two wood topped, Elite styles made.

I saw one at the local store back in the day and Al currently has one in stock.

Mission accomplished.

I figured it was the last chance I'd have to buy a new nine-year-old Millpede. :D

YAAAHHH!! Congratulations, Mitz! You will NOT be disappointed. The "Millipedes", as you have referred to them sound SO, very, SWEET!

I'm so happy for you! Be sure and post your own photos and give us a full report.

I guess that's YOUR Christmas present, huh? Now what are you going to buy for the wife?

;)
